Arthritis Symptoms Lately? Get Busy!

Getting older doesn’t have to mean your joints don’t move as much as they used to. It doesn’t mean you have to wake up with pain and inflammation in your joints. It doesn’t mean you have to use pain relief medications for the rest of your life. And it doesn’t mean you will have to make extra trips to the doctor.

But there is one little thing you need to know if you want all this to be true for you as a diabetic: there’s going to be some work involved.

No one is going to magically wave a wand over your joints and suddenly they will be healed. No one is going to give you a magic pill that takes away the inflammation and the pain. Similarly, a magic pill won’t give you the range of motion back; not without taking extra risks to develop new health problems.

But really now, what are you going to do about the arthritis in your knees and in your fingers? It’s not fun to not be able to walk as far as you used to or do the hobbies you used to which involve your hands.

The thing to do is to get busy and start changing your diet. Here’s the major reason why: the vitamins and minerals you need on a daily basis also protect you from arthritis and your joints breaking down.

For example, research studies show that selenium, pantothenic acid, copper, niacin, vitamin B6, zinc, vitamin D, silica, and vitamin C are absolutely essential for your joints. Without them, joints break down. The research is pretty clear, although quite a few studies have only been performed on animals. In many ways, animal joints are pretty close to what human joints are like.

As a diabetic, you’ve got enough problems going on in your body! Don’t let one more health issue invade your body!
